North Carolina Department of State Treasurer, Raleigh, is searching for a firm to provide record keeping and/or communication services for its 457 and 401(k) plans with more than $8.6 billion in combined assets.
It could not be learned by press time whether the incumbent record keeper, Prudential Retirement, can rebid. Prudential’s contract expires on Dec. 17, 2015, according to the RFP.
The RFP is available on the state treasurer’s website. Proposals are due by 2:30 p.m. EST on Nov. 13. Finalist presentations will take place in mid-January, and a hiring decision is expected in mid-March.
Investment consultant Mercer is assisting.
