Luke Spajic was named by Pacific Investment Management Co. to run its portfolio management effort in Asia, said spokesman Agnes Crane.
Mr. Spajic has been a senior credit portfolio manager at PIMCO headquarters in Newport Beach, where he also served as an executive vice president, a company press release says.
His new position will be based in Singapore.
He will report to Michael Gomez, managing director and head of emerging markets portfolio management. Information about whether Mr. Spajic will have a new title in his new position was not available at press time.
