Georg Kyd-Rebenburg was appointed head of European wholesale distribution at F&C Investments, said a spokeswoman.
He replaced James Beddall, said the spokeswoman. Mr. Beddall joined Liontrust Asset Management last month as co-head of international sales, according to a news release from Liontrust.
Mr. Kyd-Rebenburg will lead the development and expansion of the F&C's wholesale presence, and increasing its coverage across continental Europe.
He will be based in the Munich office and started Monday. He reports to Mandy Mannix, head of client service and distribution.
He was previously country head for Germany and Austria at AllianceBernstein. A spokesman said he left at the end of 2013 and was not directly replaced. The firm has since expanded its team in Germany with the appointments of Philipp Lehner, Alex Hoffman and Martin Dilg as sales advisers, he said.
