Susan Gostick joined BNP Paribas Investment Partners as head of the pension fund segment, a spokeswoman said.
It is a new position and is based in London.
Ms. Gostick is responsible for growing the €497 billion ($627.6 billion) manager's presence in pension markets around the world.
Ms. Gostick was previously head of institutional relationship management at Newton Investment Management. A spokeswoman for Newton said Ms. Gostick's responsibilities were taken on by the institutional relationship team, led by Alan Goodwin, head of institutional account management. That team is currently recruiting for a number of other positions, the spokeswoman said.
