Wyoming Retirement System, Cheyenne, is adding Vanguard Group's S&P 400 Mid Cap Value Fund to the investment lineup of its $530 million 457 plan, said Polly Scott, deferred compensation and communications manager.
The fund replaces the Perkins Mid Cap Value Fund, from which participants will be automatically mapped to the Vanguard fund.
The change is the result of underperformance and personnel changes at Perkins Investment Management. Perkins spokesman John Groneman did not return a phone call seeking comment by press time.
A blackout period for participants will take place from Dec. 5 to Dec. 8.
