Alex Chang joined Natixis Global Asset Management in Taipei as a managing director and head of Taiwan.
He replaces Michael Chang, who will move to Singapore later in October to become director of institutional services for Asia at Natixis affiliate Loomis Sayles, said a Natixis spokeswoman.
Alex Chang was a senior vice president and head of the direct sales division at ING Funds Taiwan. ING Funds Taiwan was acquired by Nomura Asset Management earlier this year.
A spokeswoman at ING Funds Taiwan couldn’t immediately be reached for information about plans to fill the head of direct sales position.
