New Bedford (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is seeking managers to run a total of about $20 million in a private equity secondaries portfolio and a private equity diversified fund of funds, said Todd Kohlhepp, a spokesman for investment consultant Segal Rogerscasey, which is assisting the $290 million pension fund.
These are new allocations for the pension fund, which intends to allocate about $10 million to each. Mr. Kohlhepp declined to disclose any additional information.
The RFPs can be found on Segal Rogerscasey's website. Proposals for both searches are due at 3 p.m. EDT Oct. 20. A selection date could not be learned.
