Karim Leguel was named head of EMEA client strategy for J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s alternatives division, said spokeswoman Charlotte Powell.
It is a new position, and Mr. Leguel is based in London. His position, which also includes serving as a senior client portfolio manager for Europe and the Middle East.
He will work “alongside portfolio managers to provide specialist investment knowledge to clients and ensure clients’ investment needs are continuously met across the (alternative asset management) platform,” Ms. Powell said in an e-mail.
Mr. Leguel was previously managing director, head of alternative investments at Rasini Fairway Capital. Officials at Rasini Fairway Capital could not be reached by press time.
