Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System, Harrisburg, is searching for an active large-cap domestic growth equity manager to run about $141 million for the $2 billion pension fund.
The allocation is currently in a large-cap growth equity index fund managed by State Street Global Advisors, said William E. Dahab, principal and director of research at Dahab Associates, PMRS’ investment consultant. The search is being conducted because the pension fund wants to make the allocation active.
The RFP is available on Dahab’s website. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EDT on Oct. 24. A selection date has not been determined.
