British Medical Association Staff Pension Scheme, London, hired Buck Consultants as investment consultant, said Nav Makhan, pensions manager at the pension fund.
Buck will provide investment advice and money manager research and selection services to the £300 million ($487.5 million) pension fund.
Mr. Makhan said Buck was hired Aug. 1, following a competitive process, and replaced Mercer.
“We conducted a competitive tender process and were impressed with Buck Consultants' sound understanding of both the scheme's needs and those of the sponsoring employer,” Mr. Makhan said in a news release from Buck.
