Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans is adding the MFS Research Bond Fund as an investment option in its 401(k) plan, said Beth Tinto, human resources director.
The domestic core-plus fixed-income fund managed by MFS Investment Management will be available to participants on Oct. 1.
It replaces the PIMCO Total Return Fund, from which participants will be mapped to the new fund.
Ms. Tinto said the change was part of the plan’s ongoing investment strategy to make sure the funds meet the plan’s needs. She could not provide the asset size of the plan or the amount of assets in the PIMCO fund.
The Archdiocese of New Orleans 401(k) Plan has 12 investment options plus a target-date fund lineup managed by State Street Global Advisors.
