Adams County Retirement Plan, Brighton, Colo., is expected to make new commitments to private equity, the result of an increased allocation to the asset class, said Pamela Mathisen, executive director.
In July, the $225 million pension fund increased its private equity allocation to 5% from 2.5% following a recommendation from Watershed Investment Consultants.
The pension fund’s current private equity managers are Adams Street Partners and Mesirow Financial.
Ms. Mathisen declined to provide further information.
