Patrick Boyce, partner and head of private equity at alternative investment firm Highland Capital, has resigned, said Shannon Wherry, Highland Capital spokeswoman.
"After 10 years with Highland Capital Management, Patrick Boyce is relocating to Hawaii with his family,” Ms. Wherry said. “He will continue to serve as a board member of certain Highland portfolio companies."
James Dondero, co-founder and president, and John Honis, partner — who had co-managed Highland Capital's private equity unit — will head the private equity group.
