Kerry Hugh-Jones was named institutional portfolio manager with the global leveraged finance team at BlueBay Asset Management, a spokeswoman said.
Ms. Hugh-Jones will report to Anthony Robertson, partner and head of global leveraged finance at the London-based alternatives and fixed-income manager.
Whether the position is new could not be learned by press time.
Ms. Hugh-Jones was previously head of business development at hedge fund manager Eclectica Asset Management.
