CalSTRS rehired Meridian Wealth Management as an investment consultant to its 403(b) and 457 plans, spokesman Ricardo Duran said Thursday.
Meridian will deal with a variety of matters, including marketplace issues and trends, program design, and contract design and review. The plans have about $560 million in combined assets. An RFP was issued in May.
The new contracts are for three years, with two optional one-year extensions at the discretion of the $186.6 billion California State Teachers’ Retirement System, West Sacramento.
