Chris Bowie joined TwentyFour Asset Management as partner, portfolio management, said Alistair Wilson, head of institutional business.
It is a new position and part of the fixed-income manager's plans to expand its credit offerings, Mr. Wilson said. Mr. Wilson said the firm will continue to expand the team at more junior levels, as it launches absolute return and corporate strategies.
Mr. Bowie was previously head of credit at Ignis Asset Management, which was acquired by Standard Life Investments this year. A spokeswoman for SLI said Mr. Bowie left in July, and he was not directly replaced. His responsibilities were assumed by Craig MacDonald, head of credit at Standard Life Investments, and his team.
