The plans’ combined assets total $106 million.
Preference points will be given to local or small-business enterprises, according to the RFP. The current record keeper, Fidelity Investments, is eligible to bid, said Maxine Buchanan, senior contract administrator. D.C. Water is working with a consultant, which Ms. Buchanan declined to identify.
The RFP is available on the authority’s website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT on Sept. 26. The contract will start July 1, 2015. It is for three years, with the option of two, one-year extensions.
