San Joaquin County Employees’ Retirement Association, Stockton, Calif., is searching for an investment consultant, said Annette St. Urbain, CEO, in an e-mail.
The search is being conducted due to the contract expiration of current consultant Strategic Investment Solutions on March 31, 2015. SIS is invited to rebid, Ms. Urbain said.
The RFP is available on the pension fund’s website. Proposals are due Oct. 31. A selection is expected Jan. 23.
As of June 30, the $2.5 billion pension fund had an asset allocation of 21% fixed income, 19% international equity, 18% domestic equity, 10% risk parity, 9% each global opportunistic and private real estate, 5% real assets, 4% cash, 3% global equity, and 2% public real estate.
