Montana Board of Investments, Helena, rehired State Street Bank as custodian, pending contract negotiations, said Rick Dorvall, procurement officer for the state.
An RFP was issued earlier this year because State Street’s current contract expires Oct. 31. The new contract begins on Nov. 1.
The board oversees a total of $15.5 billion in assets, including $9.8 billion in state pension fund assets.
