Pensacola (Fla.) Firefighters’ Relief and Pension Fund is conducting an invitation-only search for an active domestic large-cap growth equity manager to run $9 million, said Cheryl Jackson, payroll and pension manager.
The $115 million pension fund will review a shortlist of potential managers at its Nov. 12 meeting due to current manager Garcia Hamilton & Associates being on watch for performance.
Ms. Jackson said Garcia Hamilton has not been terminated and might remain as the manager; the shortlist will be reviewed for a potential replacement.
Officials at Garcia Hamilton could not be reached for comment by press time.
Investment consultant Burgess Chambers & Associates is assisting.
