Daniel Pottorff was appointed director on LaSalle Investment Management's debt investments and special situations team.
Mr. Pottorff will focus on western European investments, reporting to group heads Amy Aznar and Michael Zerda. He also will help the team access special situations opportunities in Europe, including loan portfolio, corporate and equity transactions, according to a news release.
The team manages €1.9 billion ($2.5 billion).
Mr. Pottorff previously was a vice president focusing on sourcing and underwriting European real estate-backed debt investments at Strategic Value Partners, according to the news release. Spokesmen for Strategic Value did not respond to a request for comment by press time.
