In its secondary market volume report, Setter Capital reported $11.3 billion in private equity fund purchases in the first half of 2014.
Leveraged buyout funds accounted for 73.5% of the total, with $8.3 billion in fund ownership changing hands in the first half. Energy funds accounted for 14.2% of the total, while venture capital purchases of $700 million were 6.2% of total first-half volume.
