Shannon Erdmann joined the asset management unit of Guggenheim Partners and will focus on CMBS, said Thomas Mulligan, a spokesman for the company.
Ms. Erdmann was a manager of commercial mortgage-backed securities at Pacific Investment Management Co.
Jennifer Spivey, a spokeswoman for PIMCO, wasn't immediately available to comment.
