Anne-Sophie Girault joined RBC Global Asset Management as managing director for business development in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said a spokesman.
The position is new. Ms. Girault is based in London and tasked with increasing the firm's institutional business in EMEA.
She was previously responsible for the client portfolio manager teams for fixed income at Aviva Investors, according to RBC. A spokesman for Aviva Investors declined to comment.
The C$335 billion ($306.8 billion) manager also hired Oliver Cooper as associate director, EMEA business development, and Fajr Al Tamimi as marketing associate, EMEA business development.
The positions are new. Details of their previous roles could not be learned by press time.
