AMN Healthcare Inc., San Diego, Calif., hired Prudential Retirement as the record keeper of its 401(k) plan, said an online notice from the company.
Prudential will replace Principal Financial Group as record keeper.
The reason for the switch could not be learned by press time. The change took effect in July.
The 401(k) plan had about $72 million in assets as of Dec. 31, 2012, according to its most recent Form 5500 filing.
Julie Gordon, administrator of the 401(k) plan, did not return a telephone call seeking more information by press time.
