Longmont, Colo., hired Great-West Retirement Services as bundled provider for the city's $65 million 401(a) plan, said Valerie Scott, procurement specialist, in an e-mail.
An RFP was issued in December. Great-West replaces Wells Fargo Institutional Retirement and Trust, which rebid.
Great-West was chosen because it had the best fee proposal, a strong investment universe and myriad other strengths, according to a summary award provided by Ms. Scott.
The switch took effect Aug 1.
