Alpharetta, Ga., recommended rehiring Morgan Stanley as investment consultant for its $50 million defined benefit plan, $16 million 457 plan and $10 million 401(a) plan, said an intent to award letter provided by Debora Westbrook, senior budget and procurement analyst.
The city issued an RFP in April as a due-diligence measure. Other finalists were Atlanta Retirement Partners and The Bogdahn Group. A final vote by the pension board is still pending.
