Texas Tech University System endowment, Lubbock, invested $25 million in Pinnacle Opportunity Fund, a hedge fund of funds managed by Pinnacle Asset Management, said Chris Gailey, section manager, reporting and investment analysis, in an e-mail.
Funding will come from cash.
The allocation will bring the $1 billion endowment closer to its 10% long-term target allocation to liquid real assets.
