Craig Gillespie joined Aon Hewitt’s U.K. investment consulting team as partner, said a spokesman.
The position is new. Mr. Gillespie’s role includes advising pension fund clients on strategy, with a particular focus on liability-driven investing. He also joined the capital markets assumption committee at Aon Hewitt, which sets the assumptions used in the firm’s asset/liability modeling, and valuation advice.
He previously was senior investment consultant at Towers Watson. A spokesman for Towers Watson did not respond to a request for comment by press time.
