Chicago Municipal Employees' Annuity & Benefit Fund is searching for an actuarial consultant, said Michael Walsh, chief investment officer, in an e-mail.
The $5.3 billion pension fund is conducting the search because of its policy to put the services up for bid every five years, Mr. Walsh said. Incumbent consultant Gabriel Roeder Smith is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due at noon CDT on Aug. 29. A selection is expected by Oct. 23.
