Colorado Public Employees’ Retirement Association, Denver, is searching for an actuarial firm to review the valuation procedures of current actuary Cavanaugh Macdonald Consulting, said Karl Paulson, director of planning, policy and budget.
The selected firm will review the valuation procedures for the $45.3 billion pension plan and $300 million health-care trust fund.
The reviews are conducted on a “regular basis,” the RFP said.
Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. MDT on Aug. 29. A hiring decision is anticipated for Sept. 23.
