Charles McKenzie joined Fidelity Worldwide Investment as head of European fixed-income portfolio management, said a spokeswoman.
The position was created following the appointment of Andy Howse as head of institutional fixed income, product and analytics. Mr. Howse was previously fixed-income team leader, portfolio managers and product.
The spokeswoman said all of the Fidelity Worldwide Investment’s fixed-income portfolio managers based in Europe now report to Mr. McKenzie.
He previously was European head of client portfolio management for fixed income at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, a role he left in May. He was replaced by Maria Ryan, who was named Europe, Middle East and Africa head of fixed-income strategies this month.
Fidelity Worldwide Investment has $274.9 billion in assets under management.
