Fresno County (Calif.) Deferred Compensation Plan recommended hiring Nationwide Financial as bundled provider, said David Joseph, county personnel analyst.
The $195 million 457 plan issued an RFP in February because current provider Great-West Retirement Services' contract is due to expire in November.
Great-West did rebid for the services and was a finalist along with TIAA-CREF.
There is no timetable for a final vote by the county board of supervisors, Mr. Joseph said.
