Santa Barbara County (Calif.) Employees’ Retirement System is searching for a CEO, said Alan Blakeboro, general counsel for the $2.5 billion pension fund.
Greg Levin was appointed the interim CEO in May, according to board meeting minutes. He replaced Gary Amelio, now the CEO at the $7.6 billion San Bernardino County (Calif.) Employees Retirement System.
The posting is available on the National Association of State Retirement Administrators’ website and the website of executive search firm Alliance Resource Consulting, which is assisting.
The deadline for applications is Aug. 22. A hiring decision is anticipated by November.
