Sarasota (Fla.) Firefighters' Pension Fund plans to interview active domestic large-cap value equity managers HGK Asset Management, Rothschild Asset Management and WEDGE Capital Management at its Aug. 27 board meeting, said Thomas D. Kelley, the city's pension plans administrator, in an e-mail.
The $132 million pension fund approved the interviews at its board meeting on Tuesday after conducting an invitation-only search for a manager to potentially replace ICC Capital Management because of performance reasons as well as personnel changes.
ICC Capital manages about $16 million in active domestic large-cap value equities. Steven Stack, chief operating officer and chief compliance officer, was not available by press time to provide any comment.
