Philip Neyt was appointed senior adviser, public affairs, for money manager and pensions provider APG’s strategy and policy team, a spokesman said.
It is a new position.
Mr. Neyt will work alongside head of international public affairs at the €369 billion ($497.6 billion) money manager, Theo Timmermans.
He will also be responsible for broadening the manager’s scope on stakeholder management at European and international levels.
Mr. Neyt previously was CEO for the pension fund of Belgian telecommunications company Belgacom.
Dick Sluimers, CEO at APG, said in the release that Mr. Neyt’s “broad network will strengthen our stakeholder management in Brussels and abroad.”
