Alex Koriath was named head of the U.K. pension practice at Cambridge Associates, said Frank Lentini, spokesman.
It is a new position. Mr. Koriath, who started Monday, will work with a number of existing clients, further develop Cambridge Associates' service offering for pension funds and coordinate the firm's business development activity for European pension funds, wrote Mr. Lentini in an e-mail. He will report to David Druley, managing director and head of the global pension practice at Cambridge.
Mr. Koriath was the director and head of fiduciary management advisory services and head of manager research for KPMG's investment advisory team in London.
Sorrelle Cooper, spokeswoman at KPMG, could not be reached immediately for information on a replacement.
