Niagara County, Lockport, N.Y., is searching for a bundled provider for two 457 plans, said Maureen Watz, county purchasing agent.
The plans now are administered by the $16 billion New York State Deferred Compensation Plan, Albany. Ms. Watz said the county is conducting the search because officials are trying to “find good value for the plan holders.” They could decide to remain with the state plan.
The Niagara County Deferred Compensation Plan has $36 million in assets, and the Niagara County Community College Deferred Compensation Plan has $1 million in assets.
Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT Aug. 19. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
