Ken Manget was named vice president of infrastructure at the C$140.8 billion (US$131.1 billion) Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Toronto.
Mr. Manget’s position is new, said Deborah Allan, OTPP spokeswoman. He will report to Andrew Claerhout, senior vice president, infrastructure.
Mr. Manget was head of investment banking at Desjardins Capital Markets.
The OTPP infrastructure portfolio, at C$11.7 billion as of Dec. 31, returned 16.8% in 2013, according to OTPP’s annual report.
