European Central Bank, Frankfurt, is searching for an actuary for its ECB Pension Funds, said a notice filed with procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily.
The selected firm will be responsible for producing annual actuarial valuation of assets and liabilities of the pension funds, board benefits, other post-employment and long-term benefits for the ECB's annual report and accounts.
The firm will also issue a triennial funding valuation of assets and actuarial advice at the request of bank executives.
The RFP is available on Tenders' website. Proposals are due Aug. 13. The contract is for three years and will start Feb. 1.
The asset size of the pension funds and further details were not available by press time. Spokesmen for the ECB did not reply to requests for comment by press time.
