Claudio Siniscalco was named global co-head of co-investments and Jason Sambanju was named director and head of Asia secondaries, both new positions, at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, spokesman Nick Bone said in an e-mail.
Mr. Siniscalco will make private equity co-investments for discretionary and non-discretionary private equity mandates. He is based in London.
Mr. Siniscalco was a principal on HarbourVest Partners' global co-investment team of more than 20 executives in Asia, Europe and the Americas, said Laura Thaxter, HarbourVest spokeswoman, in an e-mail.
“We are looking forwarding to announcing several new additions to our investment team over the next four to six weeks,” Ms. Thaxter wrote.
Mr. Sambanju will make investments on the private equity secondary market in Asia. He is based in Hong Kong. He was managing director and co-head of Asia at Paul Capital. David de Weese, partner at Paul Capital, was traveling and could not be reached by press time. Another partner, Philip Jensen, could not be reached by press time.
