Simon Flood has been appointed head of AXA Investment Managers Asia Pacific, effective Aug. 1.
Mr. Flood will replace Jean-Pierre Leoni in that role.
Mr. Leoni will return to Paris to take on the new role of global head of client management, said Monique Inge, a spokeswoman for AXA IM.
Both Mr. Flood and Mr. Leoni will report to Laurent Seyer, global head of AXA Investment Managers' client group.
Mr. Flood served as chief investment officer of Singapore-based Lion Global Investors, through June 2013. Ms. Inge couldn't immediately say what Mr. Flood has been doing in the interim.
