University System of New Hampshire, Concord, added $3 million each to a real asset collective trust fund managed by State Street Global Advisors and an emerging markets equity mutual fund managed by Parametric Portfolio Associates in the system's $444 million combined endowment pool, said Erik Gross, associate treasurer.
The system now has $20 million invested in the SSgA fund and $14 million in the Parametric fund. The system made the additions for rebalancing purposes because the system was overweight in domestic equities, Mr. Gross said.
Funding comes from an S&P 100 index ETF managed by BlackRock's iShares unit, leaving it with $46 million, and a domestic midcap index fund managed by Vanguard Group, leaving it with $22 million.
