Alpharetta, Ga., named three finalists in its search for an investment consultant for its $50 million defined benefit plan, $16 million 457 plan and $10 million 401(a) plan, said Debora Westbrook, senior budget and procurement analyst, in an e-mail.
The finalists are Atlanta Retirement Partners, The Bogdahn Group and current consultant Morgan Stanley. The city issued an RFP in April as a due-diligence measure.
The finalists will make presentations at a board meeting on Friday; Ms. Westbrook said there is currently no date set for a decision.
The DB plan was closed to new hires on July 1, 2009; Transamerica Retirement Solutions is the third-party administrator of all three plans.
