Maria Ryan was named Europe, Middle East and Africa head of fixed-income strategies for J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s global fixed-income business.
Ms. Ryan is replacing Charles McKenzie, who left his role as European head of client portfolio management for fixed income, said a spokeswoman. Mr. McKenzie left in May, she said.
Ms. Ryan joined the firm in 2013 as a client adviser with the U.K. institutional team. In her new role she will manage a team of client portfolio managers, responsible for client relationships across EMEA. She reports to Meg McClellan, global head of market strategies for fixed income and liquidity.
Mr. McKenzie’s plans could not be learned by press time. He did not respond to requests for comment by press time.
Also, Zsolt Papp was appointed global head of emerging markets debt client portfolio strategies, reporting to Ms. Ryan. He joined from Union Bancaire Privee, where he was senior product specialist for emerging market debt.
