The municipal council in Asker, Norway, is searching for at least one provider to run the operation and investment management of a newly established pension fund, a spokesman for the council said.
In May, the council decided to create a municipal pension fund and procure the necessary services to operate it. The spokesman said if one company cannot deliver both services, it will hire two firms under a cooperative agreement.
The contract will start Jan. 1, 2015, and end Dec. 31, 2021, said documents filed with European procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily.
Proposals are due Aug. 12. More information is available on TED. No selection date was specified.
