Alameda County Employees’ Retirement Association, Oakland, Calif., committed $42.5 million to private equity fund Sycamore Partners II, said recently released board meeting minutes.
The $6.7 billion pension fund previously committed $30 million to the manager’s first fund in April 2012.
Investment consultant Strategic Investment Solutions assisted.
Betty Tse, chief investment officer, was not available to provide further information by press time.
