Adam Willis and Laura Brown joined the U.K. distribution team at Legal & General Investment Management, a spokesman for the firm said.
The positions are new and reinforce the firm’s commitment to the U.K. market, the spokesman said.
Mr. Willis was appointed head of index distribution. He was head of sales and relationship management at MSCI. A spokeswoman for MSCI was not available to comment by press time.
Ms. Brown was appointed head of LDI distribution. She was head of solutions at Ignis Asset Management, which was acquired by Standard Life Investments this month. A spokeswoman for SLI said Ms. Brown left in November and her departure was unrelated to the acquisition. She was not replaced.
Also, LGIM gave Simon Males the title of head of active fixed-income distribution. When Pensions & Investments reported last month that Mr. Males was joining LGIM, the spokesman declined to comment on the matter. Mr. Males was managing director of U.K. institutional client relations at Pramerica Fixed Income. Details of a replacement at Pramerica were not available by press time.
All three report to Mike Walsh, head of U.K. distribution at LGIM.
