Louisiana Municipal Employees’ Retirement System, Baton Rouge, hired WCM Investment Management to run $15 million in active international growth equities, said recently released board meeting minutes.
Artisan Partners was the other finalist.
The $835 million pension fund conducted an invitation-only search following the establishment of a new 4% target to international equities earlier this year; the pension fund in April had hired First Eagle Investment Management to run $20 million in a value strategy.
Investment consultant Meketa Investment Group assisted.
