Herve Hanoune was named head of Vontobel Asset Management's fixed-income boutique in Zurich and a member of its management committee, said company spokeswoman Isabel Reck.
Mr. Hanoune will manage the 14-person fixed-income team. He will report to Axel Schwarzer, head of Vontobel Asset Management.
Hans Speich, head of equities and fixed-income portfolio management in Zurich, previously oversaw these responsibilities. Moving forward, Mr. Speich will oversee Vontobel's global thematic equities boutique.
Mr. Hanoune was a senior portfolio manager and head of global aggregate management at Amundi Asset Management. His responsibilities have been assumed by his former supervisor, Laurent Crosnier, chief investment officer and CEO of Amundi's London office, said Amundi spokeswoman Robin Schoen.
As of Dec. 31, Vontobel had 109.6 billion Swiss francs ($123.2 billion) in total assets under management. Its fixed-income boutique had 10 billion Swiss francs in AUM.
